Free written estimates
Some of our favorite projects start with a homeowner asking, “Can you build this?”
Often, the answer is yes. We can build these projects on their own or include them with a new fence, gate, or deck. Either way, we plan the work around your yard, your home, and what you need the finished space to do.
If you do not see your exact idea below, ask us. We will tell you what is practical, what it will take, and whether we are the right crew for it.
What We Build
Catios
Secure outdoor space for cats to climb, lounge, and get fresh air. Freestanding or connected through a window or door, with the size and layout designed for your home.
Pergolas and Covers
Open pergolas for shade or solid covers for more protection from the weather. Built over a patio, incorporated into a deck, or placed elsewhere in the yard.
Retaining Walls
Hold back soil, create more level ground, or prepare a slope for a deck, patio, or other usable space.
Outdoor Kitchen Structures
Covered cooking and bar areas framed in cedar and built around your grill and layout. Usable through more of the year, not just the dry months.
Fire Pits and Fireplaces
Permanent gathering spaces that make the yard useful well beyond summer. Gas or wood-burning options can be planned with seating and surrounding materials to match.
Hot Tubs and Cold Plunges
Decking, steps, and enclosures that make a hot tub or cold plunge feel like part of the yard. Built to handle constant water and Northwest weather.
Sheds and Storage
Custom storage for tools, bikes, garden equipment, and trash containers. Sized for the available space and designed to look like it belongs with the house.
Saunas
Indoor and backyard saunas built with cedar we mill ourselves. Sized for the space you have, with the framing, insulation, and ventilation done right so it lasts.
NOT ON THE LIST?
Tell us what you are picturing. Many of these projects began as a one-off request from a homeowner.
A SEATTLE FAVORITE
Catios
A catio gives your cat a safe outdoor space with fresh air, sunlight, and room to climb without letting them roam the neighborhood.
We build freestanding and attached catios sized for the space you have. Depending on the layout, the enclosure can connect to the house through a window or door so your cat can come and go.
Cedar framing, secure mesh, shelves, ramps, and weather protection can all be designed around your cat and your home.

Common questions
-
Often, yes. Combining projects can simplify scheduling, material delivery, and site work. Tell us about the full plan before we prepare the estimate.
-
It depends on the size, materials, site conditions, and complexity. We visit the property first, then provide a written estimate showing exactly what is included.
-
Some projects do. Requirements depend on the project, its size, where it sits on the property, and whether it attaches to another structure. We confirm what is required and include permit work in the project scope when needed.
-
Yes. We inspect the problem and determine whether a lasting repair is possible. We will not recommend replacing the entire structure if a proper repair will solve it.
-
Call us anyway. Send a photo, sketch, or example if you have one. We will review the idea and tell you whether it is something we can build.
